OU regents approve expansion project for baseball stadium

The OU Board of Regents approved a proposed design for the project at the board's meeting Friday in Oklahoma City.

OU officials estimate the project will carry a price tag of $850,000. OU athletic director Joe Castiglione said the athletic department had set aside private funds to complete the project. University officials expect to begin construction in January and be complete by May.

The expansion will include replacing the existing ticket booth with a booth that resembles the ones at the northeast and northwest corners of Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.
